800 Rosemount, Oakland

Miller and Warnecke built many grand homes in the Bay Area in the Spanish colonial revival and Tudor revival styles. This beautiful example may be one of the best preserved. There are so many great details: the arched terrace, shutters, tile roof, wrought iron embellishments, multiple fireplaces, applied beams, library – the list goes on and on. Even the kitchen retains most of its original charm which is very rare.
