If the attribution is correct, this might be the earliest extant structure designed by Henry Gutterson, who is noted for many remarkable homes around the Bay Area including those on Berkeley’s famous Rose Walk. Regardless of provenance however, this home has many lovely original details including board and batten paneling, divided light windows, French doors, push-button switches, and applied beams.
