Today we feature another grand and imposing home, this time in the Spanish colonial revival style. This house is awash in the romanticized details of an imagined past – there are the tile roofs and floors, the wrought iron and alcoves, the arched doorways and the exposed dark wood roof structure. Even the oversized trusses have been placed on large brackets and made a decorative element.

Though the architect of this home is not identified in the listing, the house was certainly thoughtfully designed. It is on par with the work of Miller-Warnecke or William Schirmer who are well known in the East Bay for their Spanish colonials. Perhaps with a bit of research, the new owners could determine who designed this very impressive home.
