Today we are very pleased to have a lovely mid-century cottage to share. Designed by noted Bay Region modernist Henry Hill and built in 1962, this modest home is chock full of great Hill trademark details. There is the low slope roof with deep overhangs and walls of glass, the showy gold fireplace, and the vertical louver partitions. Even the kitchen appears to be mostly original. Like Roger Lee, Henry Hill was very prolific and made great efforts to make good modern design available to clients with budgets both small and large, so it is nice to see one of his more diminutive homes come to market in such remarkable condition.
