2 Leeward Glen, Lafayette

John Nicely is not an architect that we are familiar with at Edificionado, but this large home in Lafayette is certainly worthy of note. It is in a late mid-century style in many ways reminiscent of Sea Ranch homes of the same period with its clear redwood siding inside and out, interesting volumes, and shed roofs with no eaves or overhangs. The house is wonderfully sited on three acres full of mature trees and ample vistas – really an unusually nice home for the area.
