92 Stratford, Kensington

Much of Kensington was built out in the 50s and 60s, so it should come as no surprise that there are some nice custom mid-century homes scattered throughout the hills. This lovely house built in 1963 is a perfect example. No architect is credited in the listing, but the design was clearly pretty forward-thinking at the time. It is full of great vertical wood paneling, interesting clusters of windows, and light coves tucked into the exposed roof framing. It also boasts a nearly completely original vintage kitchen, and to top it all off, some impressive views of the North Bay.
