This charming Spanish colonial revival has all of the typical details that one would expect to find in a home of this style. The tile roof, wrought iron, alcoves, and heavy exposed timbers are all very apropos, and though quite well done, not very surprising. What are unusual, however, are the carved wood details that are found in several places throughout the public rooms of the house. They are a wonderful custom embellishment that though not frequently encountered, fit perfectly into the standard “Spanish” narrative.
