915 Oxford, Berkeley

Our featured home today is a relatively restrained Berkeley Spanish colonial revival. The home has plenty of Spanish embellishments, but they are all executed in an unusually refined manner. The applied beams in the living room are really merely suggestions of beams, and the wrought iron work is exceedingly minimal and open. It is not uncommon for period revival homes to be a hybrid of a number of different styles, and the interiors of this particular home feel quite Tudor because of their reduced ornamentation and lack of rustication.
