900 Indian Rock, Berkeley

No attribution is provided in the listing, but this elaborately detailed Berkeley storybook looks very much like the work of William Raymond Yelland. Yelland is perhaps best known for his Normandy Village on Spruce Street but his imaginative storybook homes are sprinkled throughout Berkeley. It would be well worth the effort to get confirmation of authorship for this home as the impressive exteriors are clearly the work of someone well versed in this particular form of period revival design.
