Today we feature an interesting Woodminster Third Bay Region home designed by Jerry Dommer. Dommer headed a successful San Francisco architecture firm for many years that focused on large scale multi-residential and commercial projects. Though he worked in San Francisco, he made his home in the East Bay, first in Berkeley and then more recently in Alamo. He currently resides in Morgan Hill, but due to the length of his stay on our side of the Bay, we are fortunate to have a number of his single family commissions sprinkled about.
This particular home has a very Bay Region exterior clad in entirely in weathered redwood, but the interior is pure 80s modernist with its unadorned white walls and minimal embellishment. It is a great period home that boasts wonderfully considered spaces and exceptional views from almost every room.
