4115 Waterhouse, Oakland

Our home du jour is one of a cluster of modest Oakmore Tudor revivals that line the West side of Waterhouse Road. The homes have varied facades, but appear to all share essentially the same floor plan. The interiors are typically spare and feature the round cornered millwork that was popular in the 30s. Waterhouse is a street that is packed full of nice period revival homes that appear to have been built as several different tracts. No indication of authorship is provided but it is likely that they were built by Dixon and Hillen or one of the other prolific period revival tract developers.
