Today we feature a beautifully preserved Queen Anne cottage built by John J Boyle who was a San Francisco builder that eventually relocated to Alameda with his family. The home has been well taken care of over the years with all of its exterior detailing intact and interiors that display a pretty exceptional retention of period fabric. There are ceiling medallions, and paneling, as well as great examples of ornate and unpainted Victorian millwork – quite a find.
