27 King, Piedmont

Today we feature a large and impressive Spanish colonial revival in Piedmont. The home is packed full of Mexican tiles, wrought iron, and plenty of dark wood. Note also the oversized mock strap hinges on the doors – quite an unusual detail. Frequently houses in Piedmont are renovated again and again until little is left of the original structure, so it is always nice to encounter a home such as this one that has retained so much period fabric.
