200 Mill Creek, Fremont

This interesting mid-century is a bit off the beaten track, but is definitely worthy of note. It was built in 1961 a few short years after Fremont was incorporated by the then city manager as his residence. He chose Beverley David Thorne for his architect and the home they built is as impressive and substantial today as it was when it was new. It has remained in the same family all these years as the city of Fremont grew up around it and now it is ready for its second owner.
