This lovely Norman revival is particularly showy with its steeply pitched roof and imposing turret. Inside, it is equally impressive with a grand living room full of inventive details and hand-adzed woodwork. It is an especially creative take on a form that is already one of the most playful of the typical period revival styles.

  1. Chris says:

Is that a W.W. Dixon (architect) home?

It definitely has some similarities with known Dixon homes, but more research would need to be done to confirm authorship. The home is part of a nice symmetrically composed cluster of turreted homes there on Park between Otis and Roosevelt that were obviously built together as a tract which would also be in keeping with Dixon’s typical practice.
