6130 Skyline, Oakland

This interesting Oakland Hills mid-century has seen a fair amount of alteration over the years but there is happily still a good deal of period flavor left to enjoy. The home is reported to have been designed by Robert Ratcliff and there are certainly some stylistic elements that would support that attribution. The projecting living room with its wrap around walls of glass is a particularly compelling space perfectly situated to capture the carefully framed view through the trees to the bay beyond.
