Today we feature a beautiful Spanish colonial manor house with a large and imposing Norman turret at the junction of its wings. The home was designed by Oakland native Charles McCall and here he has combined elements from a number of period revival styles to create an intriguing and wholly original hybrid. McCall is particularly known for his lavish interiors and his deft hand with interior woodwork. His wooden ceilings are always particularly charming and in this case there several nice examples to choose from.
