This impressive Kensington mid-century is made up of an interesting assortment of linked volumes. The main living space is a modified A-frame with the roof held up from the ground to allow for expansive views out of the sides. From this towering beginning the rooms unfold out in a variety of shapes and sizes, each one compelling in its own right. It is an unusually creative accumulation of masses that manages to remain a uniform whole while simultaneously creating the impression that it was conceived of in distinct phases.
