Today we feature an impressive Walter Ratcliff residence designed in the Tudor revival style which he is often credited with introducing to the Bay Area architectural community. Unlike his earlier homes, this particular example is quite spare in keeping with the prevailing tastes in the late 20s. Even so, Ratcliff still manages to include a great number of artistic embellishments including peaked doors and windows, a picturesque interior balcony and intriguingly complex roof lines.
