This unusual brick ranch needs a bit of love but could be a real showstopper. It was built by Charles Elsenius who was a local brick mason and also the founder of Woolsenius Tile which supplied the tile for numerous period revival homes across the East Bay. Charles McGregor, who was responsible for building much of Albany was one of his regular clients. Of course, a number of his showy tiles have made it into this home as well, helping to complete the rather eclectic aesthetic assemblage.
