Our featured home today is a statuesque John Hudson Thomas Norman revival. Thomas’ early career was marked by extraordinary innovation and creativity but by the late 1920s commissions were streaming in and his homes became less inventive and more repetitive. There were of course exceptions to this rule and this example is a particularly nice one. It features many of the same basic building blocks that he was using in his other homes at the time, but it is a more fully realized specimen with plenty of Thomas’ trademark oversized wood members and carefully composed interior spaces.
