Happy New Year from Edificionado! Our local real estate market is just beginning to show the first signs of thawing after the traditional winter slowdown and we are very excited for the opportunity to share many more beautiful homes in the year to come. To start it off we have a nicely appointed Orinda mid-century by one of our favorite local architects. Robert Klemmedson is perhaps the best known of the Bay Region modernists that were based out of Orinda during the 50s and 60s. This particular home has been altered a bit over the years but still demonstrates a good deal of Klemmedson’s trademark careful detailing and creative layout of spaces. It’s a nice way to begin the year and hopefully portends good things ahead.
